Training programmes

Structured lab programmes for Singapore professionals who want applied AI capability — not passive lectures, but bench work, peer review and documented methods you can use immediately.

Lab 01 Prompting Lab

Structured prompt engineering for consistent, reviewable AI outputs.

The Prompting Lab teaches a repeatable methodology for designing, testing and documenting prompts. You will move beyond ad-hoc experimentation to a framework your team can adopt — with templates, validation checklists and version control practices appropriate for professional environments. Sessions cover context framing, role assignment, output formatting, chain-of-thought techniques and error recovery when AI responses fall short of expectations.

This programme is designed for analysts, content producers, operations staff and managers who use AI assistants daily but lack a structured approach. No programming background is required. You should bring examples of tasks you currently perform — anonymised — so exercises reflect your real workflow.

Duration: 2 days (workshop) or 4 weeks (cohort) Format: Live at Science Park / hybrid cohort From S$680 per participant

What is included

  • Facilitator-led demonstrations and bench exercises
  • Prompt template library and documentation standards
  • Peer review sessions with structured feedback
  • Certificate of completion
  • 30-day post-programme email support for clarifications

What is not included

  • Custom integration with your organisation's proprietary systems
  • Ongoing managed AI services or tool subscriptions
  • Job placement, client referrals or income-related outcomes
  • WSQ accreditation (we issue our own certificate of completion)

Lab 02 Workflow Lab

Design AI-assisted workflows with appropriate human oversight.

The Workflow Lab focuses on mapping existing processes, identifying where AI assistance adds value and where human judgment must remain central. You will learn to document task boundaries, design approval checkpoints and measure time impact with honest caveats. The programme addresses common pitfalls: over-automation, insufficient validation and failure to account for data sensitivity under Singapore's PDPA requirements.

Ideal for team leads, operations managers and transformation staff who need to propose AI workflow changes to stakeholders. Bring a process from your organisation — fully anonymised — for the capstone exercise within this programme.

Duration: 3 days (workshop) or 6 weeks (cohort) Format: Live / hybrid From S$920 per participant

What is included

  • Process mapping workshops with sticky-note ideation exercises
  • Workflow documentation templates
  • Human-AI responsibility matrix framework
  • Sandbox review of your anonymised workflow design
  • Certificate of completion

What is not included

  • Implementation of workflows in your production environment
  • Legal or compliance sign-off for your organisation
  • Specific productivity percentage claims — results vary by context

Lab 03 Tools Stack Lab

Evaluate, configure and document your AI productivity toolkit.

The Tools Stack Lab is a hands-on programme for professionals who need to make informed decisions about which AI tools to adopt — and which to avoid. You will compare capabilities across categories (writing assistants, research tools, automation platforms, data analysis interfaces), understand licensing and data handling implications, and build a documented stack aligned to your role and organisational policies.

We demonstrate tools generically without endorsing specific vendors. The focus is on evaluation criteria, configuration best practices and knowing when a tool is inappropriate for a given task. Suitable for individual contributors and managers building team guidelines.

Duration: 2 days (workshop) or 3 weeks (cohort) Format: Live at Science Park From S$750 per participant

What is included

  • Tool evaluation framework and scorecard template
  • Hands-on configuration exercises at lab benches
  • Data handling and PDPA awareness module
  • Personal tools stack documentation

What is not included

  • Software licences or subscription fees for third-party tools
  • Enterprise procurement or vendor negotiation
  • Technical integration with legacy systems

Lab 04 Capstone Track

Apply your learning to a real project with mentor review.

The Capstone Track is for professionals who have completed at least two prior labs and want to demonstrate applied mastery. You will select an anonymised project from your organisation, apply prompting, workflow and tools techniques learned previously, and present your approach to facilitators and peers for structured feedback. The emphasis is on documentation, honest limitation statements and transferable methodology — not polished marketing claims.

Prerequisite: completion of Prompting Lab and at least one additional lab, or equivalent experience assessed by our facilitators. Cohort size is limited to ensure meaningful review time for each participant.

Duration: 8 weeks Format: Hybrid with monthly in-person reviews From S$1,450 per participant

What is included

  • Assigned mentor for fortnightly check-ins
  • Two in-person presentation and review sessions
  • Capstone documentation template
  • Certificate of completion with project summary

What is not included

  • Employer approval of your project — that remains your responsibility
  • Publication or portfolio hosting of your capstone work
  • Continued mentoring beyond the programme period
