Frequently asked questions
Honest answers about our programmes, fees, data handling and what you can realistically expect from AIWealthLab training.
Who are AIWealthLab programmes designed for?
Our lab programmes are designed for working professionals in Singapore — analysts, managers, operations staff, transformation leads, team supervisors and individual contributors — who want practical AI skills they can apply in their current role. You do not need a programming or data science background, but you should be comfortable using everyday workplace software such as email, spreadsheets and document editors. We also serve corporate teams through our Team Lab in-house offering, working with HR, L&D and department heads to align delivery with organisational objectives.
Do I need prior AI experience before joining a lab?
No prior AI experience is required for our foundational courses and Lab 01 Prompting Lab. If you have never used an AI assistant, we recommend starting with LAB-101 AI Foundations for the Lab Bench, which establishes core literacy before specialised modules. For Capstone Track and advanced courses, we expect completion of at least two prior labs or equivalent experience assessed by our facilitators. During enrolment we conduct a brief skills conversation — not a test — to recommend the right starting point for your background.
How long do the programmes take to complete?
Duration varies by format. Workshops range from one to three full days at our Science Park facility. Cohort programmes typically run three to eight weeks with weekly sessions and assignments between meetings. Team Lab in-house programmes are customised from one week to twelve weeks depending on group size and depth of coverage. Capstone Track runs eight weeks with fortnightly mentor check-ins and two in-person review sessions. We provide a detailed schedule before you commit so you can plan around your work commitments.
How are fees calculated?
Fees depend on programme type, format (workshop, cohort, in-house), group size and any customisation required. Published ranges on our website are indicative — for example, Prompting Lab from S$680 per participant for standard cohort delivery. Team Lab pricing starts from S$4,800 per cohort and scales with duration and participant count. We provide a formal proposal after discussing your requirements. GST applies where relevant. We do not charge hidden fees; our proposals list exactly what is included and excluded.
Will I receive a certificate? Is it accredited?
Yes, participants who complete a programme receive a certificate of completion from AIWealthLab Pte. Ltd. stating the programme name, duration and date. We do not claim WSQ accreditation, SkillsFuture Credit eligibility, MOE registration or IMDA endorsement unless explicitly stated for a specific future programme. Our certificates document your participation in structured professional development — they are not professional licences or regulatory credentials. If accreditation status matters for your employer, please discuss this during your enquiry.
Will completing a programme guarantee a job, promotion, or higher income?
No. Our programmes build practical AI skills, documented methods and confidence using AI tools in professional contexts. Career outcomes — including new employment, promotions, salary changes or business revenue — depend on many factors outside our control: your employer's policies, industry conditions, prior experience, how you apply what you learn and broader market dynamics. We do not guarantee employment, income, promotions, clients or any specific financial result. You should enrol to build capability for your current and future roles, not expecting a predetermined monetary return.
Can my employer sponsor my participation?
Yes. Many of our learners are sponsored by their employers through L&D or transformation budgets. We provide formal proposals, invoices and completion certificates suitable for corporate records. For Team Lab programmes we work directly with your HR or department lead to align curriculum with organisational policies. We do not process SkillsFuture Credit claims on your behalf unless a specific accredited programme is offered in future. Contact us to discuss sponsorship documentation requirements for your organisation.
How is my personal data handled?
We handle personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Data collected through our contact form and enrolment process is used solely to respond to enquiries, administer programmes and communicate about services you have expressed interest in. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Data is stored on secure servers with access restricted to authorised staff. You may request access, correction or withdrawal of consent by contacting [email protected]. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Do you offer in-house corporate training?
Yes. Our Team Lab programme delivers customised AI training at your office or at our Science Park facility. We conduct a pre-programme needs assessment with your stakeholders, tailor exercises to your industry and tools, and provide a post-programme summary for your L&D records. Group sizes typically range from 8 to 40 participants. Pricing depends on duration, customisation and participant count. For urgent corporate enquiries during business hours, please call +65 6477 5183.
What tools and platforms are covered in your programmes?
We teach techniques and evaluation frameworks that transfer across AI tools rather than endorsing specific vendors. Demonstrations use commonly available AI assistants, productivity platforms and automation connectors in generic form. In Tools Stack Lab you learn to evaluate and configure tools appropriate to your role using a structured scorecard. We address data handling, licensing and organisational policy alignment. We do not provide software licences — participants use tools their organisation already subscribes to, or free-tier access where appropriate for exercises.
Are sessions live, recorded, or both?
Workshop and lab sessions at our Science Park facility are live and in-person by default. Cohort programmes combine live sessions — in-person or video conference — with assignments completed between meetings. We may provide session summaries or anonymised exercise materials after programmes, but we do not sell pre-recorded course libraries as a standalone product. Team Lab format is agreed during scoping. Hybrid options are available for participants who cannot attend every in-person session, subject to cohort agreement.
How can I get support during and after the programme?
During programmes, facilitators are available during lab sessions for questions and bench-work support. Cohort participants can email clarifications to our cohort manager within programme hours. Most programmes include 30 days of post-completion email support for factual clarifications about materials covered — not ongoing consulting on your organisation's projects. Capstone Track participants receive assigned mentor check-ins throughout the eight-week period. For enrolment or scheduling questions, contact [email protected] or call during office hours.
